APR is a unique professional services consultancy providing a range of services based around two core areas of expertise:
APR Architects - Innovative Design & Project Management
APR Consultants - Strategic Information, Analysis, Advice
APR Architects and APR Consultants have developed independent expertise in their respective areas which has allowed them each to grow substantial businesses in their own right.
With his broad architectural experience, Roger Willard joined with Deryck Shaw in 1990 to form APR Consultants - a broad consultancy offering offering resource management, marketing, town planning, economic analysis and research services, architecture, urban design and interior design. Around the same time the company moved to a new office in Pukaki Street, in Rotorua's CBD.
In 1993, civil and structural engineering services were added with the merger of Paul Richardson's engineering practice. APR could now offer a one-stop consultancy service. By the mid 1990's, APR had grown and needed larger premises. The directors purchased and redeveloped one of the older houses in Rotorua's CBD. The company also opened offices in Hamilton and Whangarei.
In late 2005 with staff numbers now approaching 30, APR’s main office was relocated to the newly established Business Hub on Hinemaru Street, Rotorua, which was officially opened by the Prime Minister Helen Clark on Friday 1 December 2006.
APR Architects and APR Consultants are supported by the corporate services of APR Group, which enable the APR companies to rationalise administration and pass on significant economies to the client.
The APR Group has built a reputation for achieving high standards and, having recently moved into larger premises, the companies are poised for further growth.
